High Q Ceramic Chip Inductors

Our 0604HQ Series wirewound ceramic chip inductors are only slightly larger than the 0603 size, yet they have significantly higher Q factors – up to 178 at 1.7 GHz. The 0604HQ also has self-resonant frequencies up to 12.3 GHz and comes in values not covered by other 0603 series.
  • Exceptionally high Q – up to 178 at 1.7 GHz!
  • Inductance values from 1.15 to 10.4 nH
  • Very high self-resonant frequencies – up to 12.3 GHz

  2. Inductance measured at 500 MHz using a Coilcraft SMD-A fixture in an Agilent/HP 4286A impedance analyzer with Coilcraft-provided correlation pieces.
  3. Q measured at 500 MHz using an Agilent/HP 4291A with an Agilent/HP 16193 test fixture.
  4. For SRF >6 GHz, measured using an Agilent/HP 8722ES network analyzer and a Coilcraft SMD-D test fixture. For SRF <6 GHz, measured using an Agilent/HP 8753D network analyzer and a Coilcraft SMD-D test fixture. Details
