Shielded Power Inductors

RoHS compliant halogen free AEC-Q flag
XAL1350 high-performance molded power inductors are mechanically rugged and magnetically shielded for use in high-density power converter circuits. They offer high current ratings and are ideal for high switching frequencies with low AC losses.
  • Low power losses (AC and DC)
  • Soft saturation characteristic to withstand high current spikes
  • Magnetically shielded
  • Composite construction minimizes audible buzzing
  • No thermal aging – perfect for high temperature applications
  • AEC-Q200 qualified with a 165°C max part temperature

Notes
  1. When ordering, please specify tolerance and packaging codes: e.g. XAL1350-302NED
  2. Inductance tested at 1 MHz, 0.1 Vrms, 0 Adc.
  3. DCR measured at 25°C on a micro-ohmmeter. For other operating temperatures, use this DCR at Temperature calculator.
  4. SRF measured using an Agilent/HP 4395A or equivalent.
  5. Isat: DC current at 25°C that causes an inductance drop of 30% (typ) from its value without current. Temperature derating curves.
  6. Irms: Current that causes the specified temperature rise from 25°C ambient. This information is for reference only and does not represent absolute maximum ratings. Temperature derating curves.
Irms testing was performed on 0.75 inch wide × 0.25 inch thick copper traces in still air. Temperature rise is highly dependent on many factors including pcb land pattern, trace size, and proximity to other components. Therefore temperature rise should be verified in application conditions.

Tolerance:

  • N = 30%
  • M = 20%
    (Table above shows stock tolerances)

Termination:

  • E = Halogen free component. RoHS compliant tin-silver over copper terminations.
  • T = RoHS tin-silver-copper (95.5/4/0.5). (Special order, added cost)
  • S = non-RoHS tin-lead (63/37). (Special order, added cost)

Packaging:

  • D = 13″ machine-ready reel. EIA-481 embossed plastic tape (400 parts per full reel). Quantities less than full reel available: in tape (not machine ready) or with leader and trailer ($25 charge).
