Coilcraft’s FA2769 Series of high-current shielded power inductors feature sub-milliohm DC resistance and very high current handling.  Magnetic shielding and tight DCR tolerances make them ideal for low voltage multi-phase VRM/VRD/EVRD regulators and current sensing circuits.
  • Developed for Enpirion in second stage LC filter of the output of their
    DC-DC power modules: 
    6 A – EN5360D, EN5365Q and EN5366Q
    3 A – EN5330D, EN5335Q and EN5336Q
  • Exceptionally low DC resistance

  1. When ordering, please specify packaging code: e.g. FA2769-ALC
  2. Inductance measured at 500 kHz, 0.1 Vrms, 0 Adc using an Agilent/HP 4284 LCR meter or equivalent.
  3. DCR is measured on a micro-ohmmeter at the points indicated in the diagram. DCR measured at 25°C. For other operating temperatures, use this DCR at Temperature calculator.

  4. SRF measured on an Agilent/HP 8753D network analyzer.
  5. Isat: DC current at 25°C that causes the specified inductance drop from its value without current. Temperature derating curves.
  6. Irms: Current that causes the specified temperature rise from 25°C ambient. This information is for reference only and does not represent absolute maximum ratings. Temperature derating curves.

Packaging:

  • C = 7″ machine-ready reel. EIA-481 embossed plastic tape (750 per full reel).
  • D = 13″ machine-ready reel. EIA-481 embossed plastic tape (3000 per full reel). Factory order only, not stocked. Quantities less than full reel available: in tape (not machine ready) or with leader and trailer ($25 charge).
  • B = Less than full reel. In an effort to simplify our part numbering system, Coilcraft is eliminating the need for multiple packaging codes. When ordering, simply change the last letter of your part number from B to D.

Soldering/Washing

Resistance to soldering heat:
Three reflows at >217°C for 90 seconds (+260°C ±5°C for 20 – 40 seconds), allowing parts to cool to room temperature between.
