0402DF Series
Ferrite Chip Inductors

  • The Industry’s lowest DCR in an 0402 package – up to 30% lower than the closest competitor
  • Developed for use in cellular applications:
    As a filter element in bandstop and low pass filters
    As a one pole filter or RF choke in cellular bands
  • Ideal for use in mobile and infrastructure equipment.
  • Higher inductance values than other 0402 inductors – up to 3300 nH
  • Ferrite construction for high current handling
  • Can also be used for ground-to-ground isolation
  • Samples of all values are available in Coilcraft Designer's Kit C462
  • RoHS Compliant, halogen free. 260°C compatible. Matte tin over nickel over silver-palladium-glass frit terminations.

2 Inductance measured at 7.9 MHz using a Coilcraft SMD-F test fixture and Coilcraft-provided correlation pieces with an Agilent/HP 4286 impedance analyzer.

5 Irms: Current that causes a 15°C temperature rise from 25°C ambient. This information is for reference only and does not represent absolute maximum ratings. Because of their open construction, these parts will not saturate.
6 Ambient temperature range: −40°C to +85°C with Irms current.
7 Storage temperature range: Component: −40°C to +100°C
Tape and reel packaging: −40°C to +80°C
8 Maximum part temperature: +100°C (Ambient + temperature rise)
9 Resistance to soldering heat: Three reflows at >217°C for 90 seconds (+260°C ±5°C for 20 – 40 seconds), allowing parts to cool to room temperature between.
10 Electrical specifications at 25°C.
11 Temperature coefficient of inductance (TCL): +25 to +150 ppm/°C.
